Summer camp students from Culture & Free Thought Association "Al-Shorouk and Al-Amal Center" visit Al-Fukhari Sanitary Landfill
On Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at Al-Fukhari Sanitary Landfill, the Joint Services Council for Solid Waste Management in the governorates of Khan Yunis, Rafah and Middle Area welcomed the students of the summer camp from Culture & Free Thought Association "Al-Shorouk and Al-Amal.
An educational presentation was given to children about the solid waste journey, how to deal with it, proper disposal methods, and the environmental, health and social effects of improper practices.
Engineer Tamer Abu al-Zumar, head of the landfill department, took the camp students on a field tour to learn about the work of the sanitary landfill and how to deal with waste in the scientific and health way.
